"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Latest Creations
Here are my latest creations.
Cute princess hair bows.

The kids all wanted crowns so I made them crowns out of felt.
Then I made a dress out of a pillowcase.

I found an old shirt of mine and turned it into a dress for Hero.

Then I finished making a princess doll. I made it without a face first and then Hero insisted she had a face.

This one is for Opa
The kids and I went out for ice cream and Chanse saw a dark green ice cream. It was darker green then the mint and he really wanted it. He tried it and loved it. His new favorite ice cream is pistachio. I couldn't stop thinking of Chanse's Opa because that is one of his favorite ice creams.

Sweet Chanse
Yesterday we were sitting in Sacrament meeting and Chanse says to me "You are the kind of mom I choose." I thought that was so sweet. What a cutie.

Making Bread
Today we are making bread. I sent the kids to wash their hands and Chanse and Hero came back and Sterling didn't. So Hero and Chanse helped me pour in the ingredients and Sterling still never came back. So I went to see what she was doing and she was covered in soap. She decided to get really clean. Here are some pictures.

A Day at The Museum
We had lots of fun yesterday going to the kids museum. The kids had lots of fun. There is a bike and if you make it go fast enough you create electricity. Chanse has tried it before and has never been able to do it fast enough. But yesterday he was able to do it. SO exciting. The girls had fun playing a harp with invisible strings. They all had fun with everything there. They even got kazoos. Jan. 28 is national kazoo day. Never knew there was National Kazoo day.
