Happy Easter

This weekend was such a spiritually up lifting weekend. I got to watch the General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I loved to hear the words of a living Prophet of God. And all the words of the Apostles of God that are on the earth today. Their words were so up lifting and were very much words I needed to hear at this time. I really liked Elder Holland's talk. It was given in the Saturday afternoon session of conference. I hope all could enjoy conference and feel the spirit as I did.

I am so grateful to hear over and over again about the atoning sacrifice our Savior made for us. He is the one who can help us in so many ways. In all of our times of need. I am so grateful for our living Prophet and for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know it is true.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter and hope they can remember the true reason for Easter and Our Saviors love for us.

I am an Auntie Again!!!!!!

I am an auntie again of a big big little boy. Heidi had her baby boy this evening and he was 10 lbs. 21 inches. I was shocked. How did a kid that big come out of her?? I am so so excited to meet him.

This morning Chanse said "What day is it today?" I said "Friday." he said "Is someone having a baby today?" I said "yes." He was so excited.

Last night Hero said "I want to go to Heidi's house so I can see here belly." And she is so excited to see the baby. This morning she was sad and said "I still have a cough." Knowing she can't go see the baby until her cough is gone.

We are all so excited about the new addition to our family. I can't wait to meet my nephew and the kids can't wait to meet their cousin.

Happy Birthday Hero!!

We have had a fun week celebrating Hero's birthday! Our sweet Hero turned 4 today. We started with a fun family birthday party with grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins. We made bracelets and necklaces, played with bubbles and balloons. The theme was princess of course. We had a blast. On Monday we went to Heidi's house and to Downtown Disney. The kids were so excited to be at Disney. We went to Build-A-Bear and had fun making bears. Fun FUN Fun!!

Today Hero's actual birthday we went and played at the park with Lavender, Eme, and Amber. The kids climbed trees and played on the swings, and chased squirrels. Then we had cake after lunch and opened some more presents. Chase really wanted to give Hero a present so he gathered up some of his toys and put them in a bag and gave to her. He is such a sweet boy.

Hero has had a great time for her birthday. And she still has more presents to come

Happy Birthday to sweet Princess Hero.

Pictures to come.

Good Quote

“Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing is like shoveling the sidewalk before it stops snowing”; "Please excuse the mess, we *live* here". and the ever popular, and true, "Sorry you missed it, my house was clean last week."

Some Great Quotes!!

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Latest Creations

Here are my latest creations.
Cute princess hair bows.

The kids all wanted crowns so I made them crowns out of felt.

Then I made a dress out of a pillowcase.

I found an old shirt of mine and turned it into a dress for Hero.

Then I finished making a princess doll. I made it without a face first and then Hero insisted she had a face.

This one is for Opa

The kids and I went out for ice cream and Chanse saw a dark green ice cream. It was darker green then the mint and he really wanted it. He tried it and loved it. His new favorite ice cream is pistachio. I couldn't stop thinking of Chanse's Opa because that is one of his favorite ice creams.
