Hair cut, Tap Dancing and Harvest Festival

This week I got out the clippers and finally cut Chanse's hair. He actually did a pretty good job staying calm. He told me he wanted a sticking up hairdo. SO we found a picture online and I tried to do it. I think I did ok.

Then I got out my tap shoes and brought a piece of wood inside to dance on and did some tap dancing. I haven't done that in a long time. The kids loved it. They all had to try. So cute. We listened to Jazz to do our jazz tap.

On Friday I went to the ghettos mall I mean Meadows Mall and we did a Halloween picture. Sterling would not sit for the picture so I had to be in it too. I had not put any make-up on. I had to rush to get there on time I was not ready for a picture. I tried hiding under a blanket but I just looked like a black ghost and the kids didn't like that they couldn't see me.

We also went to Chanse's school Harvest Festival. The kids had lots of fun. Hero won the cake walk and played the junk food roulette and won 2 times on that too. I got a picture of her winning number red 6. Chanse just had to get a balloon from the clown. He waited in line for 1 hour. He got a sword, belt and hat. Hero got a flower and a puppy on a leash. The flower popped just minutes after. She was very sad. So at that point the carnival was over but Chanse had wanted to pick a pumpkin. He had waited for an hour for the clown and he wouldn't come with me when I took the other kids to pick a pumpkin. Daddy was going to stay in line while we did games. So Chanse was very upset because there was no pumpkins. Hero was crying because the balloon popped and Ben was tired because we had to wait so long. We walked there so I told Ben to go ahead and go home and I would try to find a pumpkin. SO Ben walked home with Hero in the double stroller. I was holding Sterling and two balloons. We ended up getting 2 pumpkins and I had 2 kids with me, one I had to carry and no stroller and we had to walk home. I really didn't know if we were going to make it home. Sterling only had one shoe on the other fell off in the stroller. So she couldn't walk. We made it home and over all everyone did have a fun time.

On Saturday we went to the ward Trunk-or-Treat. I took Sterling and Chanse. Hero stayed home sick with Daddy. Chanse was Jack the Pumpkin King from Nightmare Before Christmas.

I have add some new items to my other blog. Check it out. The link is on the sidebar.
We had a fun week.

This Week

In Chanse's class they have started to cook on Mondays. This week he came home with a creepy hand. (glove with candy corn and popcorn) When he got home he wanted to make another one. But I didn't have the supplies to make another one. So we made brownies instead. Chanse licked the big spoon and Hero had fun licking the bowl. Yum Yum!!

Hero and Sterling had lots of fun running around and playing in their tutus. Both girls just love them.

We went to the park and Hero and Sterling stayed on the swings the whole time. When we left Hero was mad because she wanted to slide. But she would not get off that swing and it was time to go. We were very rushed to get Chanse off on his bus.

On Friday we went to a Pumpkin Patch with Chanse's class. The kids got in free and got to go on a bunch of the rides for free. WE had lots of fun. Chanse loves the bounce houses. They had one that was Candyland. So So Fun. Hero and Sterling didn't like the bounce house. Hero wanted to go on one of the rides. The ride was cars that went in a circle. Every time we have gone to Disneyland the rides scare Hero and she doesn't like the ones that go in a circle. We went on the dragon ride first it went in a circle and she loved it. I couldn't go with them because Sterling couldn't go on. But Hero Loved it. We went on the car ride and we went in a Fun House. I carried Sterling. Hero freaked out with the moving stairs and the spinning floor. I got her on the spinning floor and she had fun for a few seconds. Then I had to carry both girls. They had to stop the stairs moving so we could get out. Chanse and Hero rode the Helicopter ride and Then took another ride on the Helicopter one in the what I called the hovercraft. They went in a hay bale maze, saw horses and got free pumpkins. We then went back on some rides. All the other adults went on the car ride and Chanse's teacher said she would watch Sterling so I could go on and they told me no adults could ride. But then he let me. It was the most fun ride ever. LOL!!! Hero left crying because she wanted to go on the rides again but they started to charge for the rides our free time was up. As it was I got the worker to give the kids one more free ride when he wasn't supposed to. He said "Read my forehead sof-ty" SO funny!!
SO over all the pumpkin patch was so fun. I am so happy that Hero liked the rides.

So today something so funny and gross happened. Hero and Chanse always say lets fight swords or light-sabers. But today I hear them say "lets fight tongues." I look over and say no that is gross. I am not sure if there tongues touched but that just is too gross. But at the same time I LOL!!

Another thing that has been going on this week that is so funny. I found Chanse in the refrigerator and I told him to get out of the refrigerator and he replies "But I'm joking ya!" I go look and he has put his dinosaur in the refrigerator to scare me. He joked Ben and I several times this week. He put in a dragonfly sticker and his dinosaur several times. Then Hero joined in and put her cabbage patch kid and her summer reading medal and Chanse put his dinosaur. I caught them putting the stuff in and the reply was "we're joking you." So I got them out and closed the refrigerator and then opened it and screamed. Chanse says "what did you scream for?" I said "There is a dinosaur in there." He said "Its not scary." It was really funny.

Chanse and I ran errands on Saturday and we went to Wal-Mart. They had Christmas stuff up so we had to go look at it. Chanse found princess snow globes. He wanted to get them so badly for Hero. So cute. We then went to look at the Halloween stuff. Chanse pretended to be scared and then said ok now we can go look. SO funny!!

My new blog

A while back I tried to sell stuff on Etsy but it didn't work out so well. SO I have seen other people putting the items they have made on blogs and had people email them if they wanted to order. There are no extra fees this way. But the biggest problem is less people seeing your stuff. So I was wondering if all of you wonderful blogging friends could add my new blog to your blogs and let people know my creations are out there. I would be so grateful if you did. Right now I just have crocheted gingerbread houses up but I am going to add lots of fun hand made items. I am going to have princess bows and fairy bows, tutus, head wreaths, slings, and whatever I decide I would like to make. I love to make things. So hopefully this will work well. Thanks for your help.

This weekend

SO my mom and dad came to visit for the weekend and to see Chanse and Hero in the primary program. Chanse said his part and sang some of the songs. He went up there and sat reverently. His teacher was giving him and the other boy cookies. I wish I was up there to get cookies. They had the nursery kids up to sing I am a Child of God. Hero went up with grandma. But she went. Hurray so fun so fun!!

On Saturday we went to the LV Renaissance Fair. I thought it would be lots of fun. We missed the jousting which I thought the kids would love. There were so many people and the map was awful. We had to pay to get in and everything cost more money and even little free shows the performers asked for money. Some of the performers were not very professional. These girls were dancing and talking to each other. Not cool in my book. I bet it would be a lot better when the kids are a little older and I am not pushing a double stroller and worrying about getting lost. But I could tell there were lots of people who had a great time.

The only picture that was taken this weekend was when we went to Cold Stone and Ben thought it would be funny to get a picture of the three girls eating ice cream. Sterling loves ice cream. ME too. Yum Yum!!!

The Latest on the Kids

In my last post I wrote Sterling got her 5th tooth but it was really her 6th. I guess I can't count. Silly me!!!! But now Sterling has 2 1 year molars on top. No wonder she has been so cranky. Poor thing.

Hero has been trying so hard to hop on one foot. She was so excited last week when she did it!! Hurray fro Hero.

And Chanse likes to read stories. He holds the book and tells the story. SO cute!!!

Pictures

Here are some fun pictures. OK Chanse hates to get food or anything on his face or hands. HE gets so upset if he is dirty. So I had to take his picture when he made a mess on his face with his cupcake and had fun doing it. Here is Hero learning to use the potty. We are still having a hard time but I know she will get it at some point. And Sterling oh she got her 5th tooth this week. The top right next to the center teeth. Sterling wants to use the potty too. She also loves to dress up but none of the costumes fit her. So sad. I am also teaching a little class to my kids and there cousins. We sing songs, dance, read a story, and do a craft. It is a lot of fun. We made Jack-o-laintern masks. They loved it. I hope you like the pictures.
