More on potty Training

So we are still working on potty training Hero. One minute she tells me she needs to go and then she sits and pees and it is great. I think yes she is getting it. And then a few minutes later she pees in her panties. I am getting a little frustrated. But she does get so excited when she goes on the potty. This is so funny when Hero goes pee pee Sterling runs to the potty and points to it and yells "PEE PEE." Sterling also likes to sit on the potty and say pee pee.

My kids love Super Why on PBS. When it comes on Sterling runs to the TV, puts her arms in the air looking like a Y and yells "Super Why!!" So cute.

Chanse has been practicing at church for the Primary program which is coming up in a few weeks hopefully he will do it. His class is saying a scripture. There is only one other kid in his class and he wont say it. So hopefully Chanse will. I also found out that Hero and the nursery kids are going to sing I am a Child of God. We will see how that goes. What fun!!!!

Potty training pictures to come.

Reverence

Today we got to church and Hero, Chanse and Sterling were all running around and being loud and not very reverent. I said "you need to be reverent! This is Heavenly Father's house. You need to talk quietly." Hero said "I want to see him." I said "You want to see Heavenly Father?" She said "I want to see Heavenly Father." I said "You can't but you can feel him. You can feel his spirit." Hero put her hand to her ear and said "I can hear him. I can hear Heavenly Father. HE is coming in is car. I can hear him. Can you hear him?" I couldn't hear him but Hero insisted that Heavenly Father was on his way in his car. I then found a picture of the first vision to show her Heavenly Father. Hero makes me laugh!!

Potty Training
This past week I have been trying to potty train Hero. It isn't going to well. We started off with a reward of a sticker everytime she would go potty. But she didn't want stickers anymore. She said she wanted M&Ms so I said ok. We went to the store and got M&Ms for her. So she will hold her pee forever and then she decides she wants some candy and then sits for like 20+ minutes on the potty and then pees. I clap and cheer for her and then she takes a bow. Yes everytime she has to bow!! We wash hands and she gets candy. She then holds it forever and runs around and then pees on the floor. She will only sit on the potty for a reward and doesn't seem to care when she pees on the floor. I am not sure maybe we are actually close to her getting it. I don't know!!!???? I just don't want to be spending so much money on diapers anymore. Side note Chanse has been dry in the morning 2 nights in a row. Yea!!! Chanse!!! Chanse said yesterday morning "I kept my pee pee in my noodle!" (He calls it his noodle because Ben called it a doodle and I guess chanse heard noodle.) Hopefully we can stop buying pull-ups for him soon. Please less diapers!! Any thoughts let me know!!!
Potty training pictures coming soon.

Update

Sterling finally got her other top middle tooth. It looked like it was going to come through like a month and a half ago. But it came through on Sept.11. Finally. Sterling's favorite word is "mine." She says it all the time. And she means it too.

Hero loves dressing up in princess costumes and dancing around. Chanse is into Ghost Busters now. He calls it Ghost Monsters. SO funny. He is a silly boy. It is sad these kids watch a lot of movies. But it is so sunny and hot here. Hopefully it will all change soon.

Since it has cooled down a little (it has been so cool 90 to 100 degrees) we went to a new park. The park is called Spring Valley Community park. It was really nice the playground equipment was shaded and there is a water feature and a ton of swings. I think there were 12 swings and half were baby swings. I am not sure the exact number but there were a lot of swings. And then there was another playground that was enclosed with a ton of swings farther back. It was a cool park. Did I say lots of swing which these kids LOVE!!! We had fun!! oh and there was no sand!!! Yea!! I hate the sand here it is very gravely. We get the sand for our sand box from California. My parents bring it up. I have not found good play sand here. Has anyone else?

Anyways!! That is enough for tonight.

Car Seats and Hair Cut

Yesterday Sterling rode in a forward facing car seat for the first time. She loves it. At first I think she was a little unsure. When I took her picture I said say cheese and she said Cheese. SO cute.

Chanse finally got his new booster seat. HE loves it too. Hero is now riding in the middle and loves the new view. So fun.

I tried to give Chanse a hair cut today. But he haters the clippers they make too much noise. So I tried with the scissors. He still cried and I only cut the sides and back but not the top. Oh well. Here is is new hair cut. Any suggestions on making it easier??
