Teeth and other fun things
Sterling got her first tooth. It came through on May 28. It is her bottom front tooth on the left. I hope she doesn't start to bite me. That would hurt. She is 10 1/2 months now. Sterling loves to push the big red car ride on/push toy. She loves to run around pushing it. This morning I gave Sterling some formula in a cup. She is always stealing Hero and Chanse's chocolate milk and you are not supposed to give them milk until they are 1 so I thought I will give her some formula that I got from the hospital. She took a sip of it made a face like this is so so gross, spit it out, and through the cup across the room. I then gave her water and she was happy with that. Silly Silly Girl.
Hero is refusing to take a nap. I keep having to put her back in her room. She better not be giving up her nap at 2 years old. I need her to take her nap. She has some personality that one. She can be so sweet and and nice and then she can get so whinny. Especially when she is tired. She is so cute when she sings songs. She loves to color. She really loves to color. She also likes to cut with scissors. Hero also loves to get into my make up. She gets my lipstick and lip brush and says "I want to paint me." So in this picture she just painted herself and she is being a penguin.
Chanse found a rollypolly bug.
Chanse is almost done with school. He finishes next week. He loves school and the school bus. He has been doing good on the potty. We switched him to pull-ups and said these are your night time underwear, you don't poop in them or pee pee in them. His pull-ups are still wet in the morning, but he has been good about peeing before bed and pooping on the potty. So we are making progress. YEA!! Chanse is also still crazy about dinosaurs. He loves to play the different holidays too. We went to JcPenny the other day and he had to bring his jack-o-lantern so he could go trick-or-treating. Silly kid. He plays that he is Santa or some sorta Santa game almost everyday. He loves Christmas.

Tag
So my sister-in-law Amy tagged me to do this. I usually don't do these things but hey I guess I will do it this time. But before I do I tag Mindy, Amanda, and Tricia.

Met my hubby Ben
I was loving going to singles dances and dancing the night away
Taking classes at Pasadena City Collage
Getting used to having a brother-in-law
5 Things on my to-do-list today
Go look at new houses (the kids love looking at model homes. Maybe someday we will have one)
Do the kids laundry
Take a shower (it is surprisingly hard to get done with 3 little ones)
Have a BBQ
Having death by chocolate cake
5 snacks I enjoy
Anything chocolate
I love bread
Strawberries
Ice cream (mint chip or chocolate or I just had the best dark chocolate gelato)
Potato Chips
5 places I have lived
Pasadena, CA
South Pasadena, CA (about 5 different houses)
Rexburg, ID
Alhambra, CA
Las Vegas, NV
5 Things I would do if I was a billionaire
Buy a home
Help family members get homes
Invest so I didn't loss all my money trying to do good with it
Set up trust funds for children's schooling and missions
Go to Hawaii and Walt Disney World (I have never been)
5 bad habits
I wait until the last possible minute to do laundry (I hate laundry)
Wait until the next meal to clean off the highchair
I wait way too long to sweep the floor under the highchair
Let the kids leave there toys everywhere (I get tired of trying to keep them picked up. They dump it all out again 2 min. later)
Like Amy I wait way too long to trim the kids nails. I forget to do it until they scratch me.
5 jobs I've had
Babysitter
Courtesy Clerk at Bristol Farms in So. Pasadena
Worked at Castle Photo in So. Pasadena
Worked at San Marino Toy and Book in San Marino
Dance teacher (teaching Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pep Flags, cheer leading, creative movement)
What people might not know about me
I didn't want to have kids because it would hurt too bad. And you know what it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Everyone may already know that. Or I always thought breastfeeding was weird and a little gross but I have breastfeed all of my babies until 1 year old when I felt like I needed to stop because I was pregnant with another baby. I am still nursing Sterling and currently NOT PREGO so maybe I will pass the year mark this time. I am also considering becoming a lactation consultant.

Silly Kids
Hero and Chanse love to play dress-up. They take blankets and towels to be ghosts and snakes . They also have other costumes. One of the favorite things to do is to put the towel on their heads the long way and they say they are Jesus. Hero tells me "I want to be Jesus." So cute.
At bed time Chanse gets his scriptures out and as Daddy reads Chanse reads along. He reads out loud mumbling words, he sometimes repeats what Daddy says.

School Carnival
On Friday we also went to the school carnival. Chanse and Hero had a lot of fun playing the games. They went fishing, picked a duck from a pond, a potato sack race, beanbag toss, and a horse race. They also got balloons tied by a clown. Chanse wanted a rope and Hero picked a doggie on a leash. They also had fun wearing their own clown noses.

The Kids
So this is the closest I have gotten to get all the kids to smiling a picture together. Chanse is 3 almost 4, Sterling is 10 months and Hero is 2. I have been busy trying to plan Chanse's birthday party. I think it is going to be a Pirate party. He keeps Changing his mind. Last year he had a dinosaur party and he wants another dinosaur party. ( I don't know why this is under lined??) So Chanse recently earned a dinosaur costume. He had to poop on the potty a bunch of times. I have not been brave enough to let him sleep without a diaper at night. He tends to wet when he falls asleep. So he wears a diaper at night and he would wait to poop until his diaper was on. So we gave him a reward for going on the potty. He earned his award and then he started pooping again in the diaper. Last night he did good. He went on the potty. I think we will be trying pull-ups. Anyone have any ideas????Hero is a silly girl. Yesterday we went to Wal-Mart and she was looking at a buda incense burner. She said, "Mommy, that's not Jesus! That's NOT Jesus." It was so cute.
Sterling is happy most of the time. She still isn't sleeping regularly through the night but I am getting a few nights here and there. 2 more months and I hope I will have sleeper. I think I will ween her at 1 year but we will see. I really want my body back. It has been 4 years of babies and nursing non stop. So I need a break. Anyways ! Sterling's new trick is clapping. I finally got a picture of her clapping. Yea!!! (I made the headband she is wearing. I am going to start selling bows. Do you like it?)

Starting a Blog
So I decided to start a blog today. I am very new to this so hopefully I can do this. I have Hero asleep and Sterling in a jolly jumper (she is still getting into things), and Chanse is singing and jumping on my bed. With these three kids that I had in three years it is hard to do anything let alone to try to start blogging.
Well lets start with Mother's Day. This year I got to go out clothes shopping alone. Yes totally alone. I left the nursing baby at home too. It was great to be by myself. That was probably the best Mother's Day present ever. (Chanse is now reorganizing my bed) Time to be alone.
Then on Sunday at church the Primary kids were asked to come up to sing. Chanse didn't want to go and he started to cry. Ben picked him up and started to take him up to the front. Hero said she wanted to go too. She got up and started to walk up. She got swept away by all the other kids. She ended up in front with lots of kids behind her. She was standing there happy as can be and then she saw Chanse crying. She then started to cry and cried out "I want my Daddy!" The Primary president got her down and to Daddy. So Daddy kneelled next to the other kids holding 2 crying kids. This was a Mother's day to remember. I got a good laugh out of it. I laughed so hard I was crying.
